A Jar full of Delights!

Just what is it about jars that makes them so darling? Let's face it.... they're pretty boring objects really.  A bit of moulded glass with a lid on top.  Yet - however boring they may be, dare I admit I have a bit of a jar fetish?  (to add to the ever growing lists of things I simply can't do without).  Perhaps I like them for their simplicity, their usefulness, their style.  Or maybe because so many can be collected by recycling them - hence qualifying as freebies! Cheap-skate - Moi?  I'm not the self-proclaimed Car-Boot sale Queen for nothing! There are so many different styles to choose from.  Plain ones, coloured ones, patterned ones.  My husband simply fails to grasp why I go into raptures when I see a pretty jar and feel unable to part with it.   Mason jars, Kilner jars, I love you all.  and yes.... even the humble ol' jam jar gets a big hug from me!  Even before we were encouraged to recycle nigh on everythi...

Storage Wars

Do you dream of having your very own studio space?  I know I certainly do.  In my dreams it is an oasis of perfection.  Acres of room in which to design, create and make my perfectly formed Cajame Creations. I've even blogged on the subject before.  Honestly, if you want to completely torture yourself, just log onto Pinterest and search studios.  It's enough to make me weep with jealousy. Okay - so the reality check is a little different, and a bit of a bitch.  Rather than the studio of my dreams (which occupies a floor space larger than my entire bungalow), I must learn to live with and love, that which I am blessed with....

Crafty Sew & Sews - Super Storage Inspiration

Woudn't this be wonderful? Who doesn't need more storage space for all their sewing paraphanelia?  I know I do.....  I've got boxes tucked away here there and everywhere in my home.  I've got a lovely desk, but it's a tad difficult to get at it as it's virtually buried away under the chaos of fabric and equipment.  Likewise underneath it - it would be a herculean task to manage to fit my legs beneath (and that would be after fighting my way onto my chair).   I do have a large shelving unit in the garge, and it's very neat and organized - but, and it's a big but...... it's not pretty in the least. I want pretty, I want girly, I want yummy pastel colours..... I want practical! Lets spend a little while cooing over some storage inspiration - I think there's some great ideas, and some are really cheap and easy to do. I've linked all the photos should you wish to investigate further. Isn't this just a brilliant idea for storing...
